Most Melbourne removalists charge $150–$210 an hour for two movers and a truck, and plenty won't tell you until you're on the phone. Ours sit at the lower end of the market and they're published here, so you can compare before you call.
Every job carries a one-off call-out fee that covers getting the truck and crew to you and back. It starts at $70 and is set by how far you are from us — $100 minimum for a four-mover crew with the large truck. We tell you the exact figure when we quote, before you book. That's the only extra on a standard local move.

Metro Melbourne, weekday booking, within 50 km, call-out fee included in the figures above. Stairs, long carries, lift bookings and peak dates (end of month, Fridays and Saturdays) add time. We confirm your rate and call-out fee in writing before your move, so there are no surprises on the day.

Two weeks is ideal for a local Melbourne move, and four weeks for interstate. End-of-month dates, Fridays and Saturdays book out first. That said, it's always worth asking — we can often fit in short-notice jobs midweek.
Yes — it's a big part of what we do. We run regularly from Melbourne to Sydney, Canberra, Adelaide and Brisbane, plus regional NSW, QLD and SA on request. Interstate work is priced as a fixed quote based on volume in cubic metres and distance, agreed in writing before we load. If your dates are flexible, a shared load will save you money; if you need it there fast, we can run a dedicated truck.
The truck, fuel, travel between your two addresses, blankets, straps, trolleys and shrink wrap, plus basic dismantling and reassembly of beds and tables. On top of the hourly rate there's a single call-out fee from $70, based on your distance from us, and we tell you that figure when we quote. Packing service, boxes and specialty items like pianos are quoted separately — they're all on the rate card above.
We carry insurance and take real care with your things. Cover levels vary by job and item value, so we'll confirm exactly what applies to your move when we quote — just ask and we'll walk you through it.
It's a one-off charge covering the run from our base to your address and back — $70 minimum for a standard crew, $100 minimum for four movers with the large truck, and it rises with distance. Most companies bundle this into a higher hourly rate or bill it as "travel time" on the day. We'd rather show it to you as one clear number before you book.
Midweek is easier to book and the job usually runs faster — less traffic, easier parking, no end-of-month rush. Tuesday to Thursday outside the last week of the month is the sweet spot. We work seven days including early starts and after-hours for offices, but Friday, Saturday and end-of-month dates are our busiest, so book those further ahead.
